for me MDP works perfectly with my new broker.
it did not open 8 trades, only 4 at a time... maybe its because my account is really small.
also my variable spread appear to be a little high as well as the open slip.

Yeah, pretty much every account I have looked at caught the trades and made a boatload of cash. Not mine though. I am starting to wonder if it is my VPS. I am using Red Paladin.

I did. Absolutely nothing. No lost connection, no attempted orders, no failed orders.....nothing. Absolutely no logs during that time period. At the very least, there should have been some stop orders. But no. Nothing.

My accounts had about 20 plus trades, to many to count.. small and large accounts, same number of trades plus or minus one.

I made a point of watching MDP during NFP today. It is most definitely the spread that keeps it from taking these awesome trades. i wish i could get in and code a piece so that it would accept wider spreads if the market moves, say.....30 pips in a spike. If it would have accepted a 2.5 or 3.0 pip spread, that first NFP spike would have easily been another few trades of +20 pip winners.

Personally, I would be surprised if anyone with that much money was using anything mt4 based. You can get access to HFT systems with that kind of money.

I carefully guess if somebody runs MDP with over 100k, the positions would be too huge to be filled.
So, account could be, might be ruined....

it's not about the account size but order size..... I have a couple of orders > 5 standard lots. fine so far.

With 100k ppl are running HFT and ARB systems connected directly via some kind of API (like Fix Api).
Better to lose an oportunity than a money

search on google for "hft systems" or "high frequency trading". You will find a lot of info about it and probably a few companies that do it.
