I'm getting smashed on slippage... 4 weeks of bad slippage costing me too much. Time to find another broker.

In addition to a news day the Euro was ranging for a few days. So the range+big news= profits. Looks like in the long run this EA might actually work.

I got 8.8% or 77 pips account 1 (max sim =4)
       19.8% or 120 pips account 2 (max sim =4)

Hope February keeps rolling them in. Lots of ground to cover to make up for January losses.

euro always range before the NFP

I had losses using ThinkForex VPS.

All the measured times were over 2000 ms, the highest being just under 3800 ms

Average execution time: 2635 ms
Average open time: 3775 ms
Average modify time: 2544 ms

At least the VPS is besides the banks servers, that helps a lot.

Awful.

This lucky punch got reported on forums.. look at the trade holding time of 21 minutes. Its obviously caused by a frozen platform, as far as I know it happened on pepperstone.. imagine this happens and the trade goes against you...

Pure luck. Wouldn't mind if that happened to me.

But even before that, he's making 45% monthly. Or is that common?

For those that want to copy someone elses successful formula then the guy running MDP 1.1.6 I think has been very generous showing his settings, I wouldnt and wise to keep his broker under wraps.

Drawdown at over 19% is a little heavy for me, but at 5% risk your turning the wick up a bit, so to be expected.

Its working for him and he has had the enjoyment of withdrawing 8K...well done my friend, nice

This is the reality of trading if you have the correct setup, Patience, perservence, hard work and a decent strategy

Also I see others that have had high returns on certain months and drops in profits other months, normal trading basically............you can withdraw profits if you like on the profitable weeks/months, its not illegal

Well that was a NFP party that just about every MDP user was invited to - if you missed out then there's something seriously amiss with your setup - the EURUSD spike was about as it good as it gets - straight up, straight down with hardly a wiggle.

Even my MDP style entry custom bot nailed the short entry @ 1.32025 - just 2.5 pips from the high - for 21 pips on demo/23 pips on live for the singular trade. Not often do u get more than that on any one trade - though I noticed at some broker trades went for closer to 30 pips a piece.

Thank you Mr Morrison, brilliant concept, worth more than the price asked to be sure :)
