For those debating which broker, FYI, I have two accounts from the same broker running on the same VPS and the same settings and I get different trading outcomes.

Sometimes one trades while the other doesn't

Synergy probably manipulates the data feed. I closed my acc. with them. Horrible customer service.

@ Dave: Could you please post birt's settings for us to discuss?
Thanks
And once again: Forget all the brokers that are 'recommended' by the vendor of MDP.

Settings: all default, except: Risk 1.5, FIFO disabled; starting with 11.10.2011, Stop Orders, Hard Stop Trailing and AutoAdjust_ECN are set to false

I coonfigured Risk = 0.8

Why forget thinkforex? I've seen some demo forward test and also some real accounts and they sound good.

what broker do you suggest?

I would recommend to set AutoAdjustECN to false, but UseStopOrder and HardStopTrailing to true. Risk is up to you. Most people here also reduce the MaxSimultaneousOrders setting and up the risk instead.
You noticed yourself that you didn't have trades lately on Thinkforex. Did you check the trade journal for errors? Probably orders could not be opened because of price changes. Thinkforex is too slow in opening of orders and in modification of S/L, in my opinion and what I heard.
Could you provide a link to a good real account using Thinkforex?

People here don't like telling their broker, because they are afraid everybody will go there and overflow the trade-server of the broker, resulting in slow execution like on Thinkforex. But I am using IBFX(AU) successfully for months and others here as well. Performance is still good, see my 1st system.
Good luck!

there are no errors in metatrader log and expert log
I've seen ThinkfForex demo of Birt did trade today, so the problem should not bet the broker.

There might have been some other problem on your hard-/software-side, but always remember that for MDP at least, demo results don't match real live results.

I know I know, but I've just purchased it and I think the first step is let it work on demo, second will be a small live account...

Hey everyone..

I'd like to know about how much is your ' average exec time ' , ' modify time ' etc.. ( when turning on show diagnostic ) .

See i have been trading with MDP but had many losses then i saw the problem was the latency i don't know why it's not normal... + it says Warning connection/broker too slow.. ??

thanks

@Wahjay: Ob both my accounts shown in my profile OpenTime is about 500 ms, execution/modificationTime both approx. 350 ms or less. According to my experience and watchiing MDP trade, OpenTime up to 1s is still ok, but ModificationTime should be below 500 ms, at least. The higher this time is the less SO I would use.
Some here boast much faster times and I am still on the lookout for such fast brokers.

Everybody: Please PM for good brokers, should be regulated, preferably FSA UK. Your help shall not be in vain 😄
Thanks!

2 winners for me on IBFX with the spread rebate. I stopped trading with Pepperstone as their slippage of late has been out of control....

Hey folks,
I just published a 3rd real live account for MDP on EU. Trading for 10 days, already 20 % in profit! No slippage on opening and closing yet. Have a look and have fun trading the coming week! It's NFP week again ....
Cheers
