If your USA, then the group orders might not do us any good. FIFO rules should block those trades .
First in and first out,,,,,,,

Ok... in my case only 1 trade was opened.
I have activated the group trade option.
In fact, the system try to open additional trades, but was not able to because there is no enough money in the account
(My leverage in only 50:1; so 0.1 lot mean a lot of money)

So 1 trade with 0.3 lots and +22pips at the end. good.

Except... my parameters says max lot = 0.2; so why 0.3 lot opened? mmmm... to validate.

so does anyone have a consensus on which is the best broker for MDP?
the one's I've heard alot about are
IBFX - except they seem to be a market maker which is not so good
Finfx - some say good on demo but rubbish on live with slippage and too far from a good VPS host meaning latency probs
Pepperstone - comes up alot but people say they used to be good but now are crap with execution times.. seems to be a running theme on this board...

anyone? :o)

Additional Changes In New Version
GAP: The robot will avoid trading around gapping periods. And will prevent random trades
from occurring because of GAPs.
does it mean decrease the trading? does anyone have tested the new updates?😄
Just trying!

I have already backtested both versions eurusd 1.2 and usdjpy 1.2 and will definitely stay with version 1.16.
1.2 does do a lot less trades which means much less profit than 1.16.
I do not care about GAPs ;-)

I'm using and testing MDP nearly 3 months. I solved it. It can work in demos with no problem but the real accounts is not the same also in ECN conditions. And i found i the most efficient setting: You do not need to change it's standart settings. There's only one thing: 'max simultaneous orders'. In normal settings it's 8. You must lower it. My advice max is 4. You will see when you lower it your orders usually wins in good pips. It open less orders but in profit. I advice for all users to set this to 1-4. And everybody see the profit.
This is my help for this forum...

Just upgraded to new version.

Getting 'spread too high' error message. Using IBFX and have slippage set to 5.0.
According to Willian at MDP, 'it has auto adjusting features for high spread'.

Anyone else seeing this?

Pepperstone become unfit for using MDP: their execution times fly over 4000ms at my last trades. So the looses came.

I checked my 'DEMO' account on FinFX today... Hadn't looked in a week. Account has almost doubled in two weeks. Will be trying a small, live account in the next week.

Do NOT forget, that FINFX charges fees per trade, which will reduce your profits dramatically!

The fee is $0.70 per mini lot....or $7 per standard lot. If you make 0.7 pips profit...it is breakeven. If you make 1.0 pips profit....you have made 0.3 pips net profit. Just wanted to clarify this for anyone who doesn't understand fee structures in ECN accounts. Now....this may seem bad....but condsider the avg spread I see is about 0.5 pips. It is about 30mins till open of Sydney session and my spread is avg 0.9 pips. about the worst it gets in the sydney session is 2.5....and that is during the absolute slowest time with the worst liquidity.

Oh yeah....quick additional note...... to get an idea of the avg calculated spread on my FinFX ECN account is....using the avg 0.5 spread and the 0.7 pip commission fee.....my avg calculated spread is 1.2 pips. So if I open a position and it move +1.2 pips....I can close with no loss. Plus.....the broker is not using a standard dealing desk interface so therefore has limited ability to interfere with my trades. Really the only thing they can do is delay my trades. They can't stop hunt or anything like that with an ECN account.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.
