I think Prof is not about giving some groundshaking solution to beat them all, rather offering a sensible option for those who does not want to engage on a quest of finding VPS and a Broker suitable for MDP. Also some Windows optimization may indeed help too. I think this is all, he does not post mind-bogging performance nor asking for any high price for his service. I have no idea why people are so worried about others' success?

same story as with 2Trl EFSF rumour. constant move with not retrace, only enough to trigger. All in late NY session when manipulation is easy. Maybe better to stop any trading this time for good.

Interesting, I had 16 trades, 9 winners and 7 losers for an overall pip loss of -4.6 but an amazing dollar gain of $6.00 on a 7K account. (some pip losing trades were for smaller position size)

I have smallish gain on one broker and huge loss on another, execution was extremely slow and most likely the case of huge losses.

My Question to Million Dollar Pips, Why are you hiding lot size from 'Monthly Analytics' section on the report?
What I have noticed from your October 2011 'Monthly Analytics' that your system earned only 269.60 pips but in dollar it's $10,377.85 for the month. Which means you used a very high lots to come up with this much profit from such a small number of pips and that's the reason you hide lot size from public view on your 'Monthly Analytics'. No one can use that much lot in real account to make that much money from that little pips. I don't believe in robot trading. BE REALISTIC.
We provide forex signal at Global Fx Signal and in October 2011 we made 969 pips profit but in dollar it's $1,257.39. CAN YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE?
Our signal provide 1 Lot = $1 anyone can use same signal in their standard account where 1 Lot = $10 and make $9,690 (969 pips x $10).
So, instead of hiding your lot size on your trade let everyone see what lot size you use to come up with $10,377.85 profit from only 269.60 Pips.

Useless...

How many lot milliondollarpips use? I couldn't find lot size anywhere.
We did far better compared to this robot. Hiding lot size tells me something wrong.

You are absolutely right, Global Fx Signal.
MDP uses 64 lot size now - ridicolous - go to mt4i.com/users/mdpips-bfr , scroll down and you will see

well... the demo account do not withdraw any $ so for sure the curve go up quickly...
so why its ridiculous? its the proof that the robot continue to growth.
For sure in the real life, your broker will disallow you to open so huge lots until you open a bigger account with a lower leverage...

what is important is the pips wins, not the size of the lot. So I do not take a look at the money in the demo accounts.

I have up to 100 standards opening on same conditions with 200:1 no problem. And it is easy to work around lot size if you think a little.

I won that one and covered part of the losses. The only reason for the loss was slow broker execution. My other broker did not lose nothing as modification was 3 times faster.

then check for the errors and your latency maybe orders were received too late.
I have good latency but got a lot of errors due to slow execution :(

MDP is fine, it's broker issue. My other broker did not lose nothing same config as the main one.

Cinar: Lost it´s profitability? Do you really think it is ALWAYS winning each and every trade? It has drawdowns as well, just like any strategy. There is NO strategy that wins all the time. I´ve run several tick-data backtests on EURUSD from 2001 to 2011 for MDP, there ARE drawdowns, but the curve is almost straight over 10 years and I haven´t seen any other EA like this without that it uses a martingale or a stop loss of 300 pips. In my tick-data backtests from 2009 April to 2011 October, MDP made 92441 Euro with a drawdown of just 4580 Euro and 5316 trades - with a fixed lotsize of 1. That is incredible good!

You should stop trading forex or any instrument if you can´t take a few losses for a long term perfect growth.

Geek, the problem here is when broker fails to execute order modification losses can be severe as the full stop out will be used. This is what happened today. When execution is perfect like on demo back test, there will be no severe losses, unfortunately not the case on live.
