yes you can o course! by he way vps has nothing to do with spreads from the broker..... only indirect if you have a fast order execution but by the way the bottleneck mostly is the speed from the broker to the grid !

I had an account with them, when their server was in Australian; i have good execution times like 600-400ms with them. Later (3 weeks ago) they change the server location to USA - Newyork. Then my execution times fly to 4000-3000ms. And my gains finished. Then i bought a vps near to their server's location but nothing was changed... So because of these ex. times i had losses yesterday for example...

With regards to the latency problems some people are experiencing...

Some time ago in the thread, somebody mentioned that Thinkforex also started quick and then just dropped off the charts... until they changed their trade comment and magic number... this lead them to believe that there might be
intentional lag from the broker...(This is just speculation) Maby 'cause of the high volume of transactions that MDP tries to make when trading

Maby somebody could request from the developer of MDP to add this feature to the EA by default
as an optional flag...

but in the mean time maby every one with latency problems should try changing their magic numbers and comments on a weekly to daily basis and let the others know if this has any effect on their latency...

I changed the magic number and the comment. Nothing changed...

..so is IBFX still working for you? what is your execution and open times like? My thinkforex times were getting ridiculous again near 28,000ms so I removed the EA and was thinking of transferring to IBFX (this is after doing all the suggested changing magic numbers, turning off hard trailing SL etc.

...is every broker going to stop us using this ea??
I just read at forexrobotnation that IBFX definitely frowns on scalpers.. Funny how these brokers are whining now the retailers have the tech tools available to use too..😀..

Yep. A few winners today.

lots of people recommend pepperstone, i am currently using FinFX....professor53 is using IBFX. i am sure there are other potentially good brokers....but as i have said before......this EA is HARD to trade profitably. You have to have a very streamlined setup.

Hi milliondpips,

You said a few months ago, that you will have the robot in a real account.
Where's that real account??

I want to know if the robot is good enought in a real account, demo accounts isn't the same thing...

Around 17 trades last night. Almost every trade maxed out in profits. It was a monster spike and it settled back to normal very fast in less than 2 min so it was purfect for MDP to score.
