I am fully aware that the results from any back test, regardless of how far back it goes, will not be that accurate when compared to real live trading.

I was wondering why your current results here (ROI of 92% per month), is a far cry from the back test, in fact its so far off that it makes me wonder is it the same EA.

The draw down here on your live account is 3 times more than the back test, which is also way off, why is this ??

Hi

Of course this is the same EA.

We used Risk 15 for the back test while we use Risk 30 for the live test.

Also as we have mentioned several times before our master EA is completely automatic but our analysts decide about the trading sessions and also may limit the trades direction. They also take care about the market news and apply emergency exit if necessary. So this is another reason while result may be different from the back test.

@majamivice I think, lower leverage can't make bigger loss, but will take more margin every trade, and lower margin ratio. When your account equity drops, may be your broker will forced to close your position.

Hi @MQLme would it be best to use the same broker you are using in order to have the same trading conditions as your EA so that the returns can be replicated. Each broker has different spreads and latency so Im thinking it may be best to use FXCM. What is your opinion on this ?

Hi everyone, just wanna give a heads up that this EA can't be installed on a Mac OS, however, you can download it on your Microsoft Remote Desktop (get it from the app store) to run it on your account via VPS.

And @MQLme is it possible for me to use Risk 15 on a 50:1 account with a capital of $1,200? Because based on Oanda rates, the margin used will be approximately $460 for 0.15 lot size EUR/USD (Risk 15). And I believe only one trade will be open at any one time right? Thus, even with that kind of margin my balance would be sufficient to keep the trade open isn't it?

Reason being is because after several trades on XM which offered a higher leverage, I feel that I trust Oanda better but their max leverage is up till 50:1 only. Thus, I think that even with 0.15 lot size per trade, I am still able to operate as the EA will only open one trade at a time. However hope that you can shed some light and tell me if I'm right or wrong.

Thanks.

Hi

Yes this is a good idea but we have many clients with different broker and they use our EA without any problem.

Dear @NSyakirinImran

Thanks for your information. Did you tried the manual installation which is also available in the package?

It is not suggested to use Risk more than 10 with 1:50 leverage even with Oanda. The maximum open positions at the same time is 2 and with Risk 15 and 1:50 leverage you may face low margin problem.

I confirm that Oanda is a better choice so I recommend you to use the EA with Risk 10 on your account at it.

Hey I have one question. If my capital is $500 USD, and I am using 50:1 Leverage, then I should have a risk factor of 10. However, does that mean each lot is risking 10% of my capital each trade? If not, what would be the lot size on my account using these parameters? Thank you!

Hi

If you use Risk 10 then each trades lot size for 500$ balance would be 0.05 standard lots. The max open positions at the same time is 2 and the maximum DD would be about 30%.

Dear @wilddreams

Please notice that since MQL.me Expert Advisor receives the signals from our server you won’t be able to do the back test.
