If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.

Once this system is able to produce 90 to 180 days of reliable trading and verifiable profitability potential on demo, I will then put the system on a new live account for additional forward testing on a real account.

Gain: 1.36%
DD: 9.43%

Gain level is acceptable.
DD level is acceptable.

Initially when the system came online it took a 4% loss to the account due to a -50 pip stoploss getting triggered on the ticket.

The system recovered from the losing trade, and generated an approximate 5% gain offsetting the approximate 4% loss, which brought the account to a positive aggregate gain of 1.36%.

Currently the system is configured to trade with a take profit target of +10 pips with a stop loss target of -50 pips maximum.

The default Risk to Reward ratio is currently calculated at 5:1 (SL -50 : TP +10)

Stoploss levels are tracked internally by the system.

Takeprofit levels are set on the ticket themselves at the brokerage.

By doing it this way, the system evaluates the losing trade to determine when it should be closed out, rather than having it hard set at the brokerage.

The system evaluates the forex market looking for high probability +10pip moves.
The stoploss of -50 pips is to make sure that a bad trade doesn't kill off the account.

It looks like the modifications that I made to the system are working a little better now.

* Smaller default lot sizes
* Limit to the number of maximum orders at one time open.
* Updated the pending order calculation functions
* Updated the stop loss calculation functions

Also, it would appear that the system is making about 1% per day compounded on the account on the account.

$1000.00 USD @ 1% compounded over 365 days = $37,783.43

While obviously it's not realistic to expect that kind of performance every day, I think it does go to show that even with a very small account, large profits can be built up fairly quickly with even trading smaller lot sizes.

There are two orders that were held overnight that should have closed out.

The system log files indicate that it detected a 'close out' status for those orders, but it appears that I still have an error in the code which would have killed off those two tickets because the close ticket function never executed.

I've manually closed those two orders out, as that is what the system should have already done, and it is what I would have done if I were trading this on a live account.

After this post I will go track down that bug and figure out why it isn't closing them correctly. 😡

System appears to be trading profitably at about 1% per day.

The second week of testing has started.
DD level is staying below 10%, with a Gain of approximately 1% per day.

This system is producing very respectable results so far.

Gain 3.91%
Drawdown 9.43%

Gain level is acceptable.
DD level is acceptable.

I am extremely happy with these test results so far.
With a $100,000.00 account, this gives a potential profit of $1000.00 per day.

With a flat gain rate of 1% per trading day using a base investment of $100,000.00 USD, the system should reach it's 100% profit level around the 100th day of trading.

Updated the system to allow for both dynamic TP & SL levels, as well as allowing the system to dynamically adjust the lotsizes more effectively.

I will be out of town until for the next few days. Trading on the system will resume on Monday.
