QFX Signals_Daily Profits Discussion

Today the markets were completely flat ranging between very few pips of movement and no major movements were seen in most of the pairs. So I closed the last group of trades earlier to avoid holding the trades over weekend.

I could have allowed it to make more profit, but since it is Friday and end of the month also and hence, I didn't want to leave the trades open over weekend.

Unfortunately, last Friday was closed with a net small loss in the account. As soon as I closed the last group of orders immediately after that a sharp fall in EURUSD pair happened which caused the system to trigger a number of trades and most of them hit the stoploss.

Nothing is guaranteed in forex market and hence, though I use grid, but still it uses a stoploss and I can't allow the account to simply blowout during such sudden price falls and hence, the account closed with a net small loss.

But still the net profit is more than 95% which was made in august and still the performance is less than one month. Lets see how everything goes in September.

I will make this account available through signalstart after I receive at least a couple of requests from myfxbook users through myfxbook performance to be sure that people are interested.

Without any such requests I don't want to keep my account history and everything public for few people only to study and copy my strategy. So either I will make it available for signal with signalstart after receiving few requests or I will simply hide the system if I change the mind to keep the system only for myself.

You should get notified from myfxbook once I make the signal available in signalstart.

Today markets started overall okay and the account was closed with small profit. It recovered around half of the loss which it made on last Friday.

I am not changing anything in the entry conditions except applying few more filters to filter out false signals to avoid unnecessary risks and large drawdowns.

The EURUSD pair is causing problem right now. It already fell significantly last Friday and still it is continuing to fall and probably may continue to fall even further. But the account has closed all trades safely at small profit.

Finally, it has recovered the total loss what occurred on last Friday and already in profit. So it is a very good start for this month of September and it has already crossed 100% profit in less than one month what is the monthly target of this system.

Those who missed my previous posts I would like to mention that this system mostly works like a scalper and hence, most of the trades are usually hold a couple of minutes to maximum few hours.

Since each trade uses a stoploss and hence, it is very rare to hold the trades for days and hence, either the trades hit the stoploss or closes in profit.

are you using ea for trading?

Unfortunately, today was a bad opening for the system and the system has made some relatively big losses around 20% to 30% which is slowly recovering.

Of course, this happened due to sudden change in the market behaviour. So I did some adjustments in the entry and exit conditions of the system.

I am sure that soon the losses will be recovered quickly and the account will grow as usual. But next few days might be tough for the system to trade and so I am closely monitoring the account.

As I mentioned previous, this is a stoploss based control grid system and hence, it doesn't simply allow the trade to blow out the account and closes trades at a reasonable stoploss hit. So it is inevitable to close few days in loss and I am perfectly fine with it in closing few days in loss instead of wiping the whole account in one day

Like I mentioned in my previous posts next few days it will be difficult for trading using this system since the markets show sharp and continues price moves in currency pairs and so it is difficult to make profit using grid systems.

But there are no big losses in the account for today and no profit as well. Yesterday, the system tried to recover some of the loss, but still there was a loss of 20% in the account.

After the account recovers again to its original profits, I will decided to make it available for signals since now anyway no one will be interested to join the signals.

Unfortunately, markets continued to move against the trading strategy and hence, this account is giving losses. But I am sure that after few days the markets will resume to continue to make profit.

However, the main problem is the high risk used in this set up due to which if 50% is lost, then it requires 100% profit to recover that 50% loss and hence, if it continue to loose more, then it doesn't mean anything to continue to trade since the account may not make profit in anyway in long run and may revolve round and round.

Hence, either I will switch to a new set up or I will close this account. Most probably I will switch to a new set up.

You can see that my previous account is running perfectly fine with very low drawdown and very slow rate and this is just an aggressive set up which I wanted to experiment exclusively for small investors like 250 USD or more. That's why I didn't publish the account for signal till now without testing at least for 1 month and hence, no one is hurt with my loss till now.

So it seems like to run a successful grid at least 2000 USD is required. So most probably I will switch to a better grid set up with a 2000 USD balance requirement.

Yes, this is my own developed and programmed EA.

I want to update all that soon I will resume this account and continue to trade in this account.

Instead of switching from account to account, I have decided to switch the strategy settings in this account and I will be using the improved version of this strategy from now on.

I will make this account public after a couple of days of applying the new settings to this account.

I have done very important changes to the settings of the system after the last major loss. Also, I have placed few manual trades which are not closed yet.

So once everything is clear, I will make it public and resume the update of this account.
