Hi Ozzie,
Sorry about that, but most of these EA s are not published yet. We just testing the beta versions before Quantina will release them.
Actually you can read in comments list what EA is opened or closed any trades.

Right now i'm running the Quantina Session Trader EA 2015, and Quantina Candle High Low EA 2015 (both version are released)
Also, the Quantina After News Burner EA 2016 ... which is not released yet.... however i'm struggling with it :))

thanks Plexy:) I think your comments list is set to private not public? Can you please change as would be useful to see how both session trader EA and High Low are doing for you. I own both have been demoing Candle High Low (on M15 - no good will try on the Daily next), the Session trader is doing good, but I think the pip distance for pending orders needs to be a little bigger than 1 pip, as it can just hit and turn around fairly easily so changed to 3 for the moment, to hopefully reduce losses. I am demoing the news trading EA also on the same account but the session trader ones I have tagged. You can see at : https://www.myfxbook.com/members/aeronthomas/news-trader-session-trader-testing/1271175

I am ready to go live with news trader on pepperstone razor testing small account. Have you tried this EA? if so which broker? I experienced too high slippage live on Global Prime, IC Markets, and FX Pro Fixed spread account. Also have you tried the itrend EA? I have the indicator wondered how the EA is doing on live accounts for traders? The after news burner sounds interesting (guessing to help reduce impact of slippage during initial spike trades...?

Good luck. cheers

Ozzie

That's not bad (53% Profit in a half month) :)

We have to leave it for public this strategy for a while to compare with others ... It's always like that to determine bugs before Quantina will officially release. Also i can get some bonus :)

So, Session Trader: I guess 1 pips away would be better, much as you can do to adjust time. Also, my observation is to use this EA more intense if there are a lot of high impact news events on that week. When there are no scheduled high impact news events market is always unpredictable for me :)

Candle High Low EA is nearly 100% profit for me back in a few months ... have a look on it. But I'm using it on Daily charts only with low 8/5 break evens (8=trigger 5=lock). Currencies are: EUR/USD GBP/USD NZD/USD GBP/CAD

Quantina News Trader 2015: Highly profitable, if you can find good broker for it, and low latency connection (VPS)
Years ago i've tried with LQD Markets, it was quite alright for a while, than they have changed their server and bum, :(
But, fortunately i have changed this broker :)

My Advice: Use automated mode with small lots and use manual mode on selected news events (FOMC, NFP, GDP, Inflation on USD, GBP EUR pairs)

Recommended Brokers by me is Pepperstone and FxPro (but high slip on fxpro):
Also, i know a few ones who's using FxPrimus with good results.
Check this list:

Quantina iTrend EA: it has much potential than i could test sofar ... i'm still working with it, and i thing the default settings is okay on EUR/USD H1 only. But i 'm testing it with many different settings on different currencies. Result are mixed but default settings make profit.

Have a good one,

regards,

plexy

thanks for the info it's much appreciated. That 53% is in a week:) Will be interesting to see how goes live. I am learning more about news trading I am posting my findings in the thread for that system. Feel free to contribute any knowledge you are finding. I am on VPS in NYC so pepperstone should work well, will give them a try. Will use your settings for the Candle High Low. I had worked out to avoid the CHF and JPN news already testing NZD and AUD still on demo but found fault today in that the NZD trades were opened on the AUDUSD pair for the NZD rate cut this morning, so didn't trigger for that 175 pip drop. I have let them know I am on version e, which are you using? I will look into fxprimus also.

I think it's under public you hit the radio button to show comments instead of keeping them private or you can use magic numbers to differientate the trades, although not sure but my magic numbers never show up on myfxbook hence why I used tag for session trader on that demo account, rest are the news trader.

Have a good day! / night whereever you are:) downunder here:)

Hi Ozzie :) , my apologise... it's one week only :)) sorry :)
On live account the Candle High Low EA and SessionTrader should give you different result between demo and live. They are not broker sensitive. News Trader EA it is.

I've checked my version of News Trader EA and my one is ' f ' version. You should ask an update from Quantina which could be free......but i'm not sure.
VPS in NewYork for MT4 server is the perfect for Pepperstone.

I did trade on NZD (interest rate) yesterday :))) even if it was a 47 pips slippage (pepperstone) i'm still happy with the profit :) , but it was a high risk for me because Pepperstone (and many other brokers) are closing their trades and servers at midnight until 00:05:00
So be careful with those trades.

Very rarely when i'm trading on NZD or AUD news. Not much liquidity on those times. I usually trade on USD and GBP news with higher lots (4 different strategies) and CAD , EUR with smaller lots. (2 strategies only)
Here you can read more about strategies:
https://quantina-intelligence.com/forex/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=68

Do not purchase that, you can get it from Quantina Forum site :) by free.

I will going to check my settings regarding comments on trading history..... i'll try to fix it.

Have a good day

I'm in UK. :))

Thanks for the info much appreciated. Yes makes sense to avoid aud and nzd or at least trade with lower risk as less liquidity in market and therefore high risk of higher slippage. I have the f version they sent me also to trial on FXPro, I thought it was f to indicate was for fixed spread accounts. I will upload on my pepperstone demo and see if it works okay. I have speech, scalper, trend and high risk settings (are those the 4 settings you speak of? Adam emailed to me a while back). had my first trade with candle high low on the daily yesterday gbpcad was a winner. will see if the 100% win rate you been getting for it holds up for me:)

I am 100% for NZDUSD next test is to go live. If you have a look at the discussion thread for that system (which is Newstrader, Session trader and High Low (you can filter trades by tag), you will see discussion around spread widening. Pepperstone seems to be one of the worst offenders so surprised you say the news trading works well with them on live? I am tempted to trial live with 0.01 lots on IC Markets I did demo with them and it was profitable but GP was more profitable so I went live with GP then found they had slippage too much so never tried live with IC, thinking maybe time too, they seem to be best for lower spread widening around news, which helps ensure trades aren't falsely triggered at 16 pips away just due to spread widening (i.e. wrong direction opened). Cityindex may work also due to low fixed spreads. have you got an account I could look at for itrend EA?

I've tried fixed spread with LQD Markets many years ago... it was quite alright, but they changed there server for a worst one.

I've got a few positive feedback of FxPrimus fixed spread account (regarding news trader) , which is similar than IC Market. But i'm still not sure about fixed spread account..... too much slips, freezing execution. News Trading (straddle) strategy is quite alright but 'm struggling with technics. (speed, slips, spreads, latency, VPS...etc) . I do not believe in technical trading for long term.

iTrend EA: I've used the iTrend Indicator only. It was faster than MACD or even RSI (i know it's just momentum indicator). I do not want to advertising them in here, but i guess that is one of the most intelligent indicator for trend and / or for Binary Options.
But it's still a technical indicator... i can not trust big lots in.... maybe one day :)
If you want i can send you a copy of iTrend EA without registration by email. (you can test it on demo account...I think)

I'll stay with news trading.... before news event and after news trading strategy, when spreads are normal and latency doesn't matter.

Quantina says they are building 7 new trading strategies into the new version of News Trader EA.
I'm testing one of them what they calling 'Quantina After News Burner'. I can see many potential in there = no more trouble with brokers :)
