I'm shocked that I was able to send 70+ orders within a few minutes to AlpariUK. Over 90 orders within the hour. Lets see if they disable my account on Sunday Open. Axis/pepperstone demo server disabled my demo within 1 hour from a few orders with frequent SL modify. I'm not sure how MDP is getting away with Demo tests.

I just noticed a huge delay in Alpari's demo feed. We're talking 15 pips behind real feed. Possibly a full minute behind.lol Arbitrage any one?

I cracked the Channel Surfer EA. - My own version of course, not the decompiled version. I still need to add an important feature to it, but I used it live lastnight and it did what it needed to do. I added it to this demo account about two hours ago and its making some successful trades =) even while the Channel surfer has been getting some losses in the next 24hours.

This is becoming more and more popular - buying existing EA's, and decompiling them to fit it to your own needs. Have you successfully modified an EA to a better version? And how do you work with a decompiled version? Isn't it all gibberish in terms of variable names?

I didn't decompile an EA, I only followed the open trades of a system for a few days. I was able to figure it out after plotting the entry and exit on my chart.
I haven't modified the Channel Surfer to make it better , but only to reenact its trades. I guess my timing couldn't have been any worse.. Forex Verified pulled their EA off live accounts after lastweeks big move on EURCHF. It put a nice dent in their customers accounts. I'll wait and see if they can improve their version. In the mean time, I'll continue to add features to my own.

Yes it sure is. But its pretty easy to fix. Just pull out 1 gibberish term and plot in 'WhatIsThis' and compile it. and go fix the other error code.
all in all. its easy but the dll string is the hard part.

i think the channel surfer is an alright strategy that many ppl use in slow sessions. But they were hooked on the idea of running it 24/7 on eurchf. Not a smart move as there are news releases and still momentum bursts. Its just another EA that is good for 1 condition that needs monitoring.

Damn, my pc shutoff at the office sometime over this week. Lets see if I get some trades before the market closes. I thought it was running this whole time as my MFB system was being updated ( I used the beta login for updates and not the EA - forgot).
