Thank you for visiting my stats and for your nice comments. Yes, this is a personal EA and it is robust during backtesting and trading. I am sorry to say that I will not contribute to this discussion thread, if you like the performance and want to join me, or if you have any other questions feel free to contact me by sending a message. I will be glad to answer your question.
Currently I am working on setting up PAMM accounts and I hope to offer this solution to new clients from March 2011.
Account update stopped... How silly and dangerous is that some people with unsound strategies and scalpers that made a thousand pips over many months want to manage money... You people forget systems with many months and negative or a few low hundred pips per month.. Too risky .. a drop of 500 pips somehow will ruin your account...
Thank you moneybotfx for your reply to my private message to you. It was not clear what your message to the public was in your posts above, so I asked you for explanation. Your answer was: 'Reason is to educate traders about dangerous practices in over-leveraging trading..' With that in mind I can answer your posts in this thread.
It looks like you think I am managing clients accounts with dangerous practices, by trading overlaveraged. If that is what you think and want to state, than I can tell you this is far from reality. If it is only for warning investors for bad money managers, this is imho not the right place to do so.
Let me go over your posts from beginning to the end.
Indeed, you are right, the myfxbook SolidEA account was not updated anymore, I didn't know that myself. It's last trades are from 27th June 2011. I now publish the results on this account again. In fact the myfxbookEA was running on a separate MT4, seperated from teh traing EA's, and I closed this MT4 accidentely, not thinking about the consequence.
Am I right you state that I am silly and dangerous because I want to manage money with unsound strategies and scalpers (....)? If so, it would have been better if we had talked or chatted for a while before you state something negative about me. Your major concern about money managers trading clients accounts with dangerous practices can be based on truth. I dislike the fact that you write about your concern in the SolidEA thread as you don't know anything about me, about the way I work, about the way I trade. You even don't know if I am a money manager yes or no.
I can explain something about the SolidEA account. This real money account was trading my SolidEA solely on 5 pairs for a long time but March 25th 2011 I stopped trading this EA because the results were declining and couldn't be backed up anymore by the backtests. The DD should have been <20%. As this is a real money account I started trading some other EA's just to check them out and to do something with the money on that account. One of them is a famous commercial EA which resulted with me in a 21% DD on this account. If I remember well, SolidEA has been trading EURUSD for a little time after 25th March too, but I am not very sure about that anymore. In fact also today I am still trading this account with several commercial EA's and as you can see it is not doing great.
What currently is being traded on this account has nothing to do anymore with SolidEA or my other private EA's. !!! It would have been far better if I would have stated that in March in this thread. Sorry that I didn't !!!
Several people have asked me to trade their accounts, but my answer to them has always been that I wanted to manage accounts when SolidEA would have performed good for a period longer then a year. I have the idea that that is quite a heavy demand which I ask from myself. After that full year good performance has been reached at the beginning March 8th I did research and testing on PAMM solutions but before I could even start with PAMM, SolidEA became useless as it didn't work anymore (asian scalper).
So there is nobody on this community who can say I managed his or her account. It is not true that i did manage accounts in an unsafe way.
I value on mentioning this, because I am currently trading managed accounts. And I am having VERY good results, nice profits with responsible drawdown. The startegies are sound. And safe, although I tell all clients and prospects this is a high risk business.
I am not publishing my results on myfxbook. Maybe I will do so one day, but not now as I want to experience for some time how it is managing accounts from related people. Related yes. I know all my clients from real live. I am accountable.
If you don't want to harm your user name, then hide or delete your system. Your Bio states over 10 years Experience and a professional attitude against FX...If you were a private trader or have your EA trade your friends and family accounts, this personal information was necessary. Public Systems should accept public criticism, so having your system here over-leveraged , it is one of the right places for comments.. Furthermore there is a trader above that was looking for EA purchase or managing services..
I commented on public demand for your system and on practice where the solid EA trading method belongs. Your EA had already proved my claim with the demonstrated records. So this is one of the right places to do so.. So ,thank you for confirmation about public demand for your system!
I did not commented on your person or your total trading skills. I 'll wait your next move and/or system..
FX Reality Performance is what we all as community see, not what we claim...My FX book evidence is what we respect. However we appreciate all the honest efforts..Almost no one had it right at once..It is an evolving process!
