I believe that this is my first post on this site. I thought I would provide some feedback from someone that is still using the product. I also take full responsibility for purchasing the product. No one forced me to purchase TOMSEA...I used the 60 day trial period to decide whether to keep the product.

I originally subscribed to TOMS EA in January 2012. I started with a $5,000 balance using the mirror trader platform with WorldProFX. I followed the Best Practices risk management rules as provided on the website trading EURUSD and GBPUSD at Risk Level 1. Over the inital couple of months (60 day trial period) the EA worked as advertised with a 20% profit on my account. Then the major downtrend occurred in both the GBP and EUR currencies. This created a drawdown of 50% on my account so I now had a balance of $3,000.

I contacted customer service at this point. The recommendation from the TOMSEA service team was to trade pairs that did not include GBP or EUR. I was also told the the logic of the EA would change to better manage these huge drawdowns. I decided to trade USDCAD pair at Risk Level 1 and now have a balance of $3,600.

I have recently contacted customer service to get a status on the logical change to the drawdowns. I also wanted to know if it was safe to trade the EURUSD pair which is the top ranked pair to trade on the TOMSEA website. I was told by customer service that the changes are still to be implemented later this year. Customer service also recommended that I should trade the EURUSD pair using the EA platform, not the mirror trade platform. I find this puzzling since the recommendation on this forum is to use the mirror trading platform.

I plan on continuing to use TOMSEA (ProfitAgent) but my results over the past 9 months show a loss of approximately 30%. This is significantly different than advertised. I only hope that modifications to the logic governing the large drawdowns ensures that history will not repeat itself. Even if it doesn't, it may be a couple of years before I get back to breakeven.

I would like to know the status of the changes being made to manage large drawdowns. To me, this is a significant flaw to being able to generate profits over a long period. When indicators show that a trend is developing in a currency pair then I would hope that some 'new' logic is applied. No one has explained when or what the changes will be. Dustin...could you please elaborate on this?

djlawren, It sounds like there was a miss-communication. When this draw down occurred it was primarily due to the EUR/GBP pair. It affected this account as well. As you can see we are just now getting to a point to where we are offsetting that draw down. My staff was to inform people that we were going to discontinue trading the eur/gbp pair not that we were going to stop trading any pair that included the eur or the gbp. If you have discontinued trading those pairs it could in fact slow down the performance however you should still be regaining ground slowly. The reporting on this site is very powerful. You can analyze the performance of each of the pairs we have traded and identify draw-downs as well as total pips and dollar profit. Take a look at the individual results and base your currency choices that. You will see that the EUR/USD and the GBP/USD are the strongest performers. Although the CAD is performing it is substantially lower in overall profits generated and if you filter the report to only show cad info you can see that it has had some pretty good draw downs.

If I was trading with your balance I would cautiously trade the EUR or GBP against the US dollar. There are obvious risks that are coming into play on those pairs as well with the uncertainty in those regions but they have historically done the best. Another thing I would like to mention is your risk level. You really should be at a risk level one based on your account level. Even at 5k risk level one would be more appropriate that what you say you were trading.

My latest mt4 @ build 419-438; open trades @ EA 1.89 unauthenticated, activated.

If updated, how would this latest EA respond to open trades with version1.89's comment/magic number?

Do advice before I proceed with update of EA.exe.

This is not the TomsEA support forum and we have not given any update on this forum regarding the update that went out this morning. As far as support goes we have been very diligent in handling any questions that come through and anyone that has contacted us via chat etc has been taken care of immediately. Our chats have been running all morning as well as are email support. If you would like support on the product my suggestion is to come to us and ask for it. That means come to our site not this 3rd party site that I only check occasionally. You can access our support both live chat and email/ticket support here. https://mytotalsupport.com/

@ Daniel, that information has been provided never the less, if you do not have that info and for future reference you can always just reply to the email you received discussing the update. That said, the below sentence was in the email as well further indicating how to contact us. This is not meant to be argumentative, I am trying to ensure that you know how to get support when you need it and give you some options ie replying to our emails in the case that you don't have this information. The below is direct quote from the email we sent you notifying you of the update which spawned your comment on this forum.

'As always, If you have any questions please feel free to email our support team at [email protected] with any inquiries. We will be happy to assist you!'

There are actually some pretty good traders lurking around here.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

The Free Trial Offer is no longer available at this TIme as its out of stock. You may Upgrade your membership to Premium or Advanced by
purchasing a license. Afterwards you may access and Download The Platform and User Guide from your member Area by clicking

Note: All purchases come with a moneyback guarantee

There is no reason NOT to provide trial. It may require some computing capacity but common for $1.5k membership you can buy/lease server. So it is SUSPICIOUS

The support team posted on donnaforex that the Licenses were limited for premium and Advance membership not just the free trial only. So its not a problem of server

The thread name on donna is HedgeCloud and from what I read it appears they would release more trial licenses from 12th till 16th of this month

You can follow the thread on donna, it really is an interesting one.

My 2 pence.
