I have already started using 0.50% risk or less on majority of my trades.. If an A+ set up comes I will risk at most 1% of closed equity.

I position size.

Congratulations, that's fair risk, even conservative. The right way to trade. Smaller risk gives breathing space when market is in crisis.

yeah, My main priority when trading is preserving my capital, and risk control. after I get to break even I focus on profits.

The 2 big jumps in the beginning are to be credited to 7-10 pip SL trades being 1% risk, those were touch trades.

Those were the smallest SL's I have ever had.. But I look forward to seeing my equity curve rise steadily, And maybe someday attract investors

25th August, my friend was allowed to use my computer while I took my kitten to a second check to the vet, and he started trading which I specifically told him NOT to! he made many trades, and lost almost all of them until he majorly over leveraged positions to win back what he had lost.

And when I came back and checked myfxbook, I noticed this unnatural jump and HUGE LOT SIZES!

I'm very angry, now my hard work has been undermined in a few hours!!!! I'm seriously thinking of making a new account because people will think I risk too much because of the big lot size jump. aaaaaarrrrghhhhhh

Maybe you need to find a vet closer to you? The first trade he made was 08.25.2010 02:48, the last one closed 08.25.2010 11:06. That's 8 hours.

I see you cut the leverage back to 1:10. Good idea, he won't be able to open 10 full lots now. :)

yah. I don't live near the capitol in Iceland. So its a long trip. And in my town there isn't a vet, I also stopped by to eat and went shopping, I had no idea this would happen.. obviously.. I am just thankful I didn't have a live account, things could've been so much worse. This will NEVER happen again, I will make sure of it.

I have to learn from MY mistakes, I never should have left my platform open.
