None of Doug's systems should even be discussed as EA's.
They are all signal services now (Except SwingTrader Pro) and as such we should expect Doug to take action.
I would expect Doug to turn off the signal on his end when he feels things are heated.

In the past Doug had to have to notify clients when to pause the EA with E-Mail Alerts.
This is no longer the case with the signal as he can turn it off on his end.
Sending out E-Mail Alerts is not necessary any more.

For further security, anyone here can turn off their 'Signal Receiver EA' if they feel worrisome.
Doug can control the signal from his end and you can control it from yours.

Doug currently has his risk for Vortex set to 3 lots fixed.
As of right now, this comes to 0.01 lots for every $266.09 he has in his account.
Please take a look at your risk everyone. Some of you have it too high.

Hello,

I agree with your point on the risk, but if you look at the first orders on Vortex the lots sizes were already 3.0.
At that period the deposit was 3495$ meaning the risk was very high and Vortex was working very fine.

The problem now is if someone start even with a correct risk setting and encounter 2 bad trades, it will take a lot of time to recover.

WELL what if you were wait until after big loss occurred then open a big trade size as the win rate is so high you know that the probability of 2 consecutive losses is relatively small?

That is a very good idea

Just an idea, this thing not really trading that much.

Great post @LogicaLucidity , I couldn't agree more. People buy ea's or sign up to signal services, pass all responsibility on to the providers and expect the Holy Grail - this is a cop out. Whether you run ea's or use a service like VORTEX, position sizing and risk management is your responsibility.

That said, the performance of Vortex hasn't been quite as advertised - since July there have been 3 big losses which have wiped out all the gains in the last 4 months. That's almost as much as in the previous three years. Buyer beware, past performance is not a guarantee of future results 🙄

As for me; I have turned Vortex off for now as I'm focussing on another ea - not a signal service. I will turn Vortex back on again some time soon, just not yet.

Good luck in trading

:P

I got Vortex just in July, it has had several big losses with its massive Risk:Reward. I'm quite a bit down! I genuinely think it has something, but maybe needs tweaking. Maybe Doug could allow the user to change the stop loss somehow? A winning trade can be as little as 0.1pip, losing trades are always in the 100's and if it doubles up as its prone to doing then it disappears twice as quick! Even if it hits 95% winning trades, it could still lose the bank quickly with the 5% of losses! Currently the only way to limit the loss is to manually close the trade, which is the reason I chose to use an EA - I can't sit in front of the computer during the day!

I take responsibility for using an EA and do not expect it to be the holy grail, but, I do think when results claiming to have turned $4500 or so into $90k + are put on line they should demonstrate results similar!

I'm going to keep running it, manage the lot sizes and keep fingers crossed. Its nearly there in my opinion, just maybe needs a few adjustments to allow us to make a few changes so we can have it trade a little more on our terms?!

After a good start earlier this year I have since become very disappointed with this service and have now removed the signals from my account.

Holy shit wat waste of 7000million dollars this was, are we not going to get a trade until next year ?! God damn this EA should be going for like 199 most, not 70900000000, just go back to my shitty ass grid, at least I know what I got and can do something with.

I have had far better results after setting my MT4 with a smoothed Heikin Ashi indicator with MACD. It works great with good results.

I'm not going into details but just go to Youtube, and search 'Heiken Ashi charts' loads of information about this. Personally, I think it work far better than I expected.

So just got an email from 'Doug' about the new trader EA scalp trader pro. It annoys me he keeps churning out EA after EA and just lets the older ones that he sold us with a 'lifetime' of support fail with no updates! Vortex is not keeping up with the results he posts, seems strange he doesn't do anything about that but churns out new systems to try to flog people!

That is his sells strategy!!! When a person knocks doors too much you should understand that he is going to give bad product.

Dear Mr.Price

instead of keep launching new products, why don't you update the current ones, the one that have been sold to many many many people like rev trader & vortex trader pro, both don't show good results lately, so instead of launching new product, you can easily add the strategy to the current product, say rev & vortex now equipped with swing, channel & scalp techniques, i think thats even better and you can keep your good reputation for the longer time, if your rev/vortex can performs very well, the sales is increasing, by the end of the day, the results is the same right? money flows into your pocket, doesn't matter it cames from rev, vortex, ct., swingtp, or scalpt, but if you keep issuing new product and ignoring the previous one, more and more people will be disappointed at you sir.

thank you

I have been updating the other systems, recently, I just don't announce it, because it doesn't require updates on your end.

Not bad, but time to time has pair of deals with a big loss. It's strangely.
