I see, you are new trader! Welcome in this trading industry! Listen, only technical or fundamental wouldn’t be enough. Here, you need a combo trading skill on both kind of market analysis.

For me, earning money is more important than Technical Trading or Fundamental Trading. If you are earning money, in the long run, it doesn't matter. I believe any trading strategy is only 20% of your trading system and 80% is psychology and money management.
The market will trade through it’s path of least resistance .

you have to incorporate both fundamental and technical strategies. And yes correct, psychology because your EMOTIONS will get the best of you. It took me years to get that under control. years! Money management, specifically MARGIN is one of the biggest factors especially trading forex!

that is true.. SOMETIMES... the problem is you have to be flexible in these markets...
this will be in my book... 'You know which is the best strategy in the world? ALL OF THEM'
I have that on my wall.
point is.. you have to incorporate BOTH at all times.. remember that or you will get burnt..

Absolutely agree on your last point! I see, which traders are working on both kind of analysis, they have such an amazing success ratio.

Yes because the world is always changing and it affects the forex markets tremendously.
A chart cant see that. Nor can the fundamentals ignore the technical analysis or mathematical equations in those indicators or oscillators.

How do you go about doing you analysis and combining tech and fundamental analysis? I have always wanted to do it but never really knew how

An economic calendar tells me 'when' to trade, a chart (and a bit of math) tells me 'how' to trade.

Why choosing one when both have its importance for us to use? Nah, I feel that both is required for good trading [both short and long term]. :)

I'm trade AEST (00:00 + 10hrs). First thing in the morning 09:00, and the last thing of an evening 21:00.
