Why don't people copy a profitable EA system or a trader and make money?

There are EA and traders that have been profitable for many years in the market. We can see and copy their current statistics. For example, what harm could there be in copying a system that has been generating an average monthly return of 5% for 10 years already with $40,000? This is an average of $2000 per month without doing anything. And it is not a risky investment as we have seen the past statistics. What could be the problem? Why don't people do this?
