I recommend both technical and fundamental for trading.

Use fundamental analysis and technical analysis indicators to find out how you wish to move further in the market.

I think that few people trade longs and shorts equally on average as most people have a bias to be able to spot opportunity on one more than the other. And that's fine to be honest.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

I read last week that on average you trade up and down, 50/50.
I'm wondering how you set that up. I have tried putting the S/L and the T/P in reverse after the market trended down, but that did not work. It was refused as wrong. Thinking back it may of been wrong because the S/L and T/P were simply not far enough away from the current price?? Thanks for your comments. Bruce
That’ the beauty of Forex market! When I am very sure on the down side of the market; then I would like to open any the sell trade position! But, no way to avoid the money management rule!
