Right now, I'm currently running a significant test. My goal is to automate my strategies and remove as much discretion as possible from my trading. My testing is currently 69 Expert Advisors running on 1 MetaTrader. From those EAs, I will be selecting the top performers to use going forward. Everything is connected to myfxbook and FX Blue.
I've currently started a few new strategies that I want you to know about. There are some changes in my strategy pattern, which should be fine. Now, here is a list of my newest strategies:
- Hedging
- Scalping
These 2 methods are showing some promising results. Hedging will be short-term, usually lasting that day or a few days at most. Scalping will usually be no more than a few hours.

Risk management seems to big one of the biggest problems with traders. I would suggest never going over 1% per trade, and using a ratio of 1:2 for Risk/Reward. Following this method will more likely give you a profitable return, or you can choose to gamble your account with heavy drawdowns. The choice is yours, but choose wisely.
I'll be using an appropriate amount of risk to minimize loses, and to avoid large drops in the account. My maximum drawdown target will be 4%. This doesn't leave a lot of flexibility, but I feel is the appropriate action to remove any volatility from the account.
