General information about GeliosTrade
William Svensson (born on 15 September 1975) is a Norwegian investor, philanthropist, manager of a hedge fund and a large range of financial services for private individuals. His hedge fund, Gelios investering front, an asset management group with its headquarter in Lillehammer, Norway, was established in 2001.

Shortly thereafter, he formed the Gelios front Group, a hedge fund holding company that specializes in fixed income, currencies, stocks and commodities. Gelios front Group, consisting of Gelios investering front and its subsidiaries, actively trades, invests for individuals, and researches fixed income assets, currencies, stocks and commodity assets, as well as related derivatives and other instruments in global markets for private international market operations.

Gelios front Group's investment strategies included, among other things, a discretionary global macro, a quantitative global macro (managed futures), a discretionary capital with a long/short position, a quantitatively neutral equity market and a growth capital, which subsequently became the main factor in Gelios front Group's strong development and global experience for the future Gelios Trade Limited.

By February 2013, the company's capital was 2.7 billion US dollars. In 2014 William Svensson sells 10% of Gelios Front Group shares to his close friend, Ingvaroa Kapradoma. William Svensson is known for being a famous philanthropist, and in 2016 he made a significant contribution of $500 million to the Stichting INGKA Foundation for the fight against starvation in Africa.

The year 2017 was a turning point in William Svensson's business, changes made to the company's principles of operation, modifications made to private investments, a new horizon opened for free trade not only for private clients and shareholders but also for free traders and investors around the world. A precise redistribution of minority shareholders' shares and the creation of a more innovative and promising model of the company was carried out, and on October 27, 2017, the headquarters in Dublin, Ireland opened, where the fundamentals of the new company Gelios Trade Limited made.

William Svensson personally controlled staff selection and company direction. The global work on recruitment of professionals carried out, most promising and experienced analysts for the largest department of "Gelios Analytics" selected, the best traders and top-managers from all over the world picked, and a new system of funds management created.

In 2018, work with corporate clients and the creation of more advanced contracts began.
