The average change in the price of products and services sold by manufacturers and producers to retailers and distributors in the wholesale market during a specified period is measured by the Producer Price Index in Australia.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the AUD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the AUD.
