Bahrain GDP Growth Rate YoY
Bahrain's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is separated into two categories: goods-producing industries and services-producing industries. The Goods Producing Industry accounts for around 41.8% of GDP. The most significant segments within the goods-producing industry are manufacturing (accounting for 18.6%), mining (accounting for 14.5%), and construction (accounting for 8.1%). In terms of GDP, the Services Producing Industry accounts for 58.2%, with the most important segments within this sector are financial services (17.1%), transportation and communications (7.1%), wholesale, retail trade and repairs (4.5%), and real estate (3.8%).
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the BHD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the BHD.
