Botswana GDP Growth Rate QoQ
Botswana is regarded as a middle-income country, despite the fact that it has experienced one of the greatest economic growth rates in Africa during the past decade. The extraction of diamonds has been the primary driver of the industry's rapid expansion in recent years. There is more than one-third of the country's GDP in this sector, which also provides for practically all export earnings and half of the government's revenues. Tourism, financial services, subsistence farming, and cattle husbandry are among the other important industries.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the BWP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the BWP.
