Oil, machinery and transport equipment, metals, and raw materials are among the items that Bulgaria imports into the country. Russia, Germany, Romania, and Italy are the country's biggest import partners.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the BGN while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the BGN.
