The business climate in industry in Bulgaria monitors the level of confidence that businesses have in the functioning of the economy and how they feel about the prospects of their respective organizations in the long term. Due to the fact that businesses often have more up-to-date information on consumer demand than government statisticians, business confidence surveys can provide useful information on the present state of the economy.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the BGN while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the BGN.
