Canada GDP Implicit Price QoQ
As a result of the deflation method in Canada, implicit price indexes are calculated by dividing an expenditure series represented in current prices by the comparable series stated in constant prices. The chain Fisher-price indexes are used as implicit price indices for all volume statistics presented in the Economic and Financial Accounts.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CAD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CAD.
