Canada Raw Materials Prices MoM
RPMI stands for raw materials price index, and it measures the prices paid by Canadian manufacturers for the most important raw materials. In contrast to the industrial product price index, the retail merchandise price index (RMPI) includes products that are not manufactured in Canada.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CAD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CAD.
