Clothing and footwear (7.2%), miscellaneous goods and services (7%), and household contents, equipment, and maintenance (4.6%) are also included in the index. A total of 18.5% of the total weight is accounted for by the following industries: communication, restaurants and hotels, recreation and culture, health, education, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco.

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CVE while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CVE.
