Chile Interest Rate Decision
The Central Bank of Chile (Banco Central de Chile) is in charge of determining interest rates in Chile. PDBC Pagarés Descontables del Banco Central (PDBC: Pagarés Descontables del Banco Central) is the official interest rate in the country, and it is equal to the overnight interbank interest rate.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CLP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CLP.
