The change in the price of goods and services from one month to the next is measured by Inflation Rate MoM.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CNY while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CNY.

China Unexpectedly Cuts MLF Rate By 20 Bps
China's central bank unexpectedly reduced the medium-term lending facility rate by 20 basis points for the first time since August, after cutting several benchmark lending rates on Monday. The People's Bank of China cut the rate on one-year medium-term lending facility to 2.3 percent from 2.5 percent on Thursday. The bank injected CNY 200 billion into the market via MLF.

China Lowers Policy Rates To Prop Up Growth
China lowered its short-term policy rates as well as benchmark lending rates on Monday, in order to prop up growth. The People's Bank of China cut the interest rate on seven-day reverse repos to 1.7 percent from 1.8 percent. The action was aimed to strengthen counter-cyclical adjustments to better support the real economy, the central bank said.

China Q2 Economic Growth Disappoints
China's economic growth missed expectations in the second quarter on weaker consumption and property market downturn, suggesting that more policy measures are needed to achieve the official growth target this year. Gross domestic product expanded 4.7 percent on year in the second quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.
