Czech Republic Business Confidence
The amount of confidence that people who operate businesses have in regards to the performance of the economy and how they feel about the prospects of their own organizations in the Czech Republic is examined by the Business Confidence Survey. When combined with other seasonally adjusted confidence measures in industry, construction, commerce, and select services, the Czech Statistical Office's business confidence indicator is calculated.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CZK while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CZK.

Czech Economy Enters Recession In Q4 With 0.3% Contraction
The Czech Republic's economic output contracted for the second straight quarter in the three months ended December, largely due to lower household consumption, thus entering a technical recession, preliminary estimates from the statistical office showed on Tuesday. Gross domestic product decreased 0.3 percent sequentially in the fourth quarter, following a 0.2 percent fall in the third quarter.
