Czech Republic Foreign Exchange Reserves
Foreign Exchange Reserves in the Czech Republic are defined as the foreign assets held or managed by the country's central bank (the Czech National Bank). Usually, gold or a specific currency are used as reserve assets. Aside from special drawing rights and marketable securities denominated in foreign currencies, other types of reserve assets include foreign currency loans, treasury bills, government bonds, corporate bonds, and shares, amongst others.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CZK while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CZK.
