Denmark Harmonised Inflation Rate YoY
The European Central Bank (ECB) uses the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) as a measure of inflation and price stability (ECB). Eurostat and national statistical institutes compile the HICP using harmonized statistical procedures. Over the longer run, the European Central Bank (ECB) seeks to keep annual inflation rates as measured by the HICP below, but close to, the 2% mark over the medium term.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the DKK while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the DKK.
