Hungary GDP Growth Rate QoQ
Household consumption is the most important component of GDP in Hungary, accounting for 50% of total consumption. Gross fixed capital formation (22%) and government expenditure (20%) are the next most important components of GDP. Currently, exports of goods and services account for 89% of GDP, while imports account for 82%, with imports contributing 7% to total Gross Domestic Product.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the HUF while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the HUF.
