Hungary Interest Rate Decision
The Monetary Council of the Hungarian National Bank (Magyar Nemzeti Bank) is in charge of making interest rate decisions in Hungary. It is the central bank's base rate on refinancing loans with a maturity of more than one year that the Central Bank lends to financial institutions that are the primary interest rate.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the HUF while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the HUF.
