Ireland Balance of Trade
Since 1985, Ireland has consistently posted trade surpluses. The trade surplus increased to an all-time high of EUR 45 billion in 2017, as both exports and imports reached their greatest levels on record. The United States, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Germany were the countries with the largest trade surpluses, while France and the United Kingdom were the countries with the largest trade deficits.

Eurozone Inflation Rises Slightly To 2.1%
Eurozone inflation rose marginally in August but the rate remained near to the European Central Bank's 2 percent target, official data revealed on Tuesday. The harmonized index of consumer prices rose 2.1 percent year-on-year in August, slightly faster than the 2.0 percent increase in July, flash data from Eurostat showed.
