Israel Imports
The most important imports into Israel are machinery and equipment which account for 28% of total imports, diamonds accounting for 11%, oil and other mineral fuels which contribute for 9% of total imports, and transport equipment accounting for 7%. The United States accounts for 12% of overall imports, followed by China (7%), Germany (6.2%), and Belgium (6%). Switzerland, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands are among the other countries listed.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the ILS while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the ILS.
