Italy GDP Growth Rate QoQ
In terms of GDP, Italy has the ninth-largest economy worldwide and the third-largest in the Eurozone. The country has a well-diversified industrial base, which is mostly fueled by the production of high-quality consumer goods. On the spending side, the GDP is composed of three components: household consumption (61%), government expenditure (19%), and gross fixed capital formation (17%). Approximately 30% of GDP is accounted for by exports of goods and services, with imports accounting for 27% of GDP and contributing 3% to total GDP.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
