When it comes to household final consumer spending in Japan, the estimates generated from the "Family Income and Expenditure Survey" as well as the demand-side estimates are taken into consideration. Households' final consumption expenditure is the weighted average of demand- and supply-side estimates.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the JPY while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the JPY.
