Jordan GDP Growth Rate YoY

Tourism, financial services, transportation, manufacturing, and remittances from Jordanians working abroad are the most important sectors of the Jordanian economy. Agricultural production in Jordan is largely non-existent due to a lack of arable land and inadequate water supplies, therefore the country places a strong emphasis on water reclamation and recycling. Despite the fact that Jordan's economy is heavily affected by the government, attempts have been made in recent years to lower barriers to doing business.

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the JOD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the JOD.
