Kenya Interest Rate Decision
The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Kenya is responsible for making interest rate decisions in Kenya. Since August 2005, the Central Bank Rate (CBR) has been the official interest rate, replacing the 91-day Treasury Bill (TB) rate.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the KES while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the KES.
