Luxembourg has one of the world's highest GDP per capita in the world. The country's economy is heavily reliant on the banking, steel, and industrial sectors. Expenditures are dominated by the external balance of exports and imports, which accounts for 35% of total GDP use, with exports of goods and services accounting for 200% of total usage and imports accounting for 165%. Domestic consumption accounts for 30% of GDP, gross fixed capital formation accounts for 18% of GDP, and government expenditure accounts for 17%.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
