New Zealand Manufacturing Sales YoY
Manufacturing sales are defined as the change in the volume of sales in the manufacturing sector of the economy from one year to the next year in New Zealand. In total, there are 13 industries covered by the survey: meat and dairy products, seafood processing, fruit, oil, cereals, and other foods, beverages and tobacco, textiles, leather, clothing, and footwear, wood products; printing, petroleum, and coal products, chemical, polymer, and rubber products, non-metallic mineral products, metal products, transport equipment, machinery, and equipment, and furniture.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the NZD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the NZD.
