Poland Inflation Rate YoY
Poland's consumer price index includes the following categories as the most significant: food and non-alcoholic beverages (which account for 24% of the total weight); housing energy/maintenance (which accounts for 21%); transportation (9%); recreation and culture (7%). The following categories account for 6% each: alcohol and tobacco, health care, other goods and services, and clothing. A total of 17% of the overall weight is made up of communication, restaurants and hotels, household equipment, and educational institutions.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the PLN while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the PLN.
