Portugal Economic Activity YoY
Economic activity year-on-year in Portugal refers to the annual change in the coincident indicator for the economic activity in the country, which includes eight major indicators: real GDP, retail sales volume (retail trade survey), cement sales, sales of heavy commercial vehicles, manufacturing production index, households financial situation (consumer survey), new job vacancies, and an external environment index.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

Eurozone Industrial Output Rebounds In January
Euro area industrial production recovered at a stronger-than-expected pace in January due to the rebound in intermediate and capital goods output, official data revealed Thursday. Industrial output grew 0.8 percent on a monthly basis in January, reversing a 0.4 percent fall in December, Eurostat reported. Output was expected to climb 0.5 percent.

ECB Chief Says Uncertainty Exceptionally High
European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said the level of uncertainty is exceptionally high and maintaining stability has become difficult. "The level of uncertainty we are facing is exceptionally high," she said at a conference organized by the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability at Goethe University Frankfurt on Wednesday.

Eurozone GDP Growth Revised Up To 0.2%
The euro area economy grew in the fourth quarter at a faster than initially estimated pace, driven by consumption and investment. Eurozone economic growth for the fourth quarter was revised up to 0.2 percent from 0.1 percent, Eurostat reported. Nonetheless, this was weaker than the 0.4 percent expansion seen in the third quarter.
