Producer prices in Singapore are defined as the change in the index of domestic supply prices from one year to the next. Specifically, the index is intended to monitor changes in the price level of products created locally or imported from abroad that are kept in the country for use in the domestic economy.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the SGD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the SGD.
