Slovakia's consumer confidence poll assesses the degree of optimism that consumers have in the country's overall economic performance. Over the next 12 months, the consumer confidence indicator is the arithmetic average of 4 balances (as percentages): the financial condition of households, the overall economic condition, unemployment expectations (with an inverted sign), and savings, all of which are asked.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German Industrial Output Rebounds; Exports Fall
Germany's industrial output expanded for the first time in four months in July, while exports declined on weaker demand from the United States and China. Industrial production rose 1.3 percent month-on-month in July, data from Destatis showed Monday.
