Spain Business Confidence
The level of optimism among entrepreneurs towards the future development of industrial activity is measured by the Industrial Confidence Indicator (ICI) in Spain. Based on a sample of 2500 businesses from all sizes, regions, and sectors of the Spanish economy, the ICI is done. An about 60% response rate is achieved. ICI is measured on a scale ranging from -100, severe lack of confidence, to +100, high confidence.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

French Inflation Cools; Economy Expands As Estimated
France's consumer price inflation softened in August on weaker growth in transport costs and the economy logged a faster growth as estimated in the second quarter, official data revealed Friday. Consumer price inflation weakened marginally to 0.9 percent in August from 1.0 percent in July, provisional data from the statistical office INSEE showed.

Eurozone Economic Confidence Weakens In August
Eurozone economic sentiment softened unexpectedly in August as only industry and retail trade showed improvements, survey results from the European Commission showed Thursday. The economic sentiment indicator slid to 95.2 in August from a revised 95.7 in the previous month. The score was forecast rise to 96.0.

German GfK Consumer Confidence To Fall Further
German consumer confidence is set to continue to fall in September as rising fear of job losses weighed on purchase decisions and damped hopes of robust economic recovery, a closely watched survey showed on Wednesday. The forward-looking consumer sentiment index fell to -23.6 in September from -21.7 in the previous month. The reading was forecast to drop moderately to -22.
