Sri Lanka Services PMI
The Services Sri Lanka PMI (Purchasing Managers' Index) relies on data obtained from a representative panel of 140 enterprises based in the country's service industry. The index monitors different variables. Employment, inventory, and pricing are examples of tracked variables. An index value of more than 50 suggests an overall growth of the services sector, while an index value of less than 50 implies an overall contraction of the services sector.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the LKR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the LKR.
