The Retail Sales Report in the UK gives a consolidated measure of retail goods and services sales over a given period of time. Retail sales in the United Kingdom are seasonal, variable, and relatively significant to the country's total economy.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the GBP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the GBP.

UK House Prices Remain Flat In June: Halifax
UK house prices remained flat in June after falling last month as more first-time buyers returned to the market, data from the mortgage lender Halifax showed on Monday.
